NEW REEL ALERT // It's been a long time coming, but I finally created a new reel from the ground up.
For years I just kept the same music and cut points, only switching out projects as they got stale. It's gotten to the point that the whole reel was stale, and at the advice of @codyebbeler I went about creating a new one from scratch.

Today's the day! Proud of @jazzynicolecollins and all her work in launching @treeswiftjewelry - a new DTC jewelry company. It's been months of work leading up to this launch, and I'm excited to share this brand with the world.

2021 is ending and it's time for an end-of-year post. I didn't do one of these during the hell that was 2020, but it's time to start back up.
I wasn't super active on social this year, so here's a breakdown of the year:
- 2021 saw me produce more than ever before. I spent more time producing this year than on set as a DP, and was lucky enough to produce over $2M in content (physical production budgets - incl celeb talent probably over $6M)
- Since I had so much producing work, I "only" DP'd 20 projects this year, the least since I've been posting these end-of-years starting in 2017
- I flew around the world, and this year worked in LA, San Francisco, Denver, New York, Florida, and Switzerland
- Somewhat film related, @jazzynicolecollins and I sold our company Production PPE in May and used the money to buy our first house this year. I'm so thankful to all our customers who made that business a success
Who knows what 2022 is going to bring. More union DP work? Tons more producing? Selling more companies?
All I know is I'm ready to grab that shit by the horns and ride.

New work alert! It was great shooting this campaign for @usaa a bit ago with a super small crew - just myself, director, and sound! As a USAA customer myself who comes from a military family, it's nice to shoot commercials for a service I actually use every now and again.
FUN FACT: Our Amira overheated and somehow uninstalled its 4K license during this shoot!
